Join us for Military Appreciation Days, May 28-31, 2010, in the City of Myrtle Beach!  We are celebrating active duty military personnel, veterans and reserves from all branches of the service with a full slate of events. 

Parents' Night Out...  Kids' Night In!

Attention Military parents!  As part of Military Appreciation Days, we are offering you the chance to enjoy a night out, while your kids enjoy a night of fun, games, swimming and snacks at Pepper Geddings Recreation Center. 

This free event, for kids age five to 12, is designed to allow military parents from Horry and Georgetown Counties to drop their children (age five to 12) at Pepper Geddings Recreation Center between 7:00 and 10:00 p.m., Friday, May 28, 2010.  Pepper Geddings is at 3205 North Oak Street in Myrtle Beach. 

Kids should bring a swimsuit and a towel, because they'll get to swim in the pool, play games, see a children's move and enjoy snacks.  Registration is required!  Call Pepper Geddings Recreation Center at 843-918-2280 to sign up for this FREE event.  

Military Appreciation Days are sponsored by the City of Myrtle Beach and PGBA, LLC.  Many activities and events will be held at The Market Common and Grand Park, part of the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base.  We hope you enjoy your visit!
