Colonel Buzz Aldrin, former NASA astronaut and the second man on the moon, is the Grand Marshal. The parade will feature more than 25 floats, eight giant helium balloons, another 10 inflatable walk-around balloons, military and marching bands, celebrities, queens, dignitaries, veterans groups and more.

Myrtle Beach area Dunkin' Donut locations are joining forces to launch "Coffee 4 R Troops," a limited-time program that allows customers to easily and inexpensively send a pound of Dunkin' Donuts coffee and a personal message to U.S. soldiers serving overseas. The effort is in conjunction with a non-profit organization that regularly sends care packages to our troops.
During events at Grand Park on Saturday and Sunday, May 29-30, visit the Dunkin' Donuts booth to buy or reserve one-pound bags of coffee to support sending coffee to the troops.
